Jill Strayer-Church

Welcome!

Life is not easy, is it? In fact, at times it’s ridiculously difficult. No one can get through it alone, but sometimes it can be hard to find the right people to navigate life with.

Perhaps I'm one of your people!

How Can I Help

I have 15 years of experience in various roles supporting people from all walks of life - most recently working with those experiencing life altering illness and persistent pain. I have also worked with those who are facing life transitions, depression, anxiety, chronic stress, the effects of colonial violence, and relationship challenges. I believe it is critical to offer you practical, compassionate, trauma-informed, and hopeful counsel.

In my work, I incorporate aspects of somatic bodywork, attachment theory, internal family systems (IFS), psychoeducation, and I appreciate the power of guided visualizations. If none of these words resonate with you or make sense to you, no problem.  We will work together to figure out which work best for you! I also welcome you to incorporate spirituality into this process.

If life has thrown you an unexpected and difficult curveball or you’re just having trouble managing the everyday ups and downs, I believe I can help you find a way to make it all more bearable - moving you from a place of surviving to thriving. Feel free to set up a complimentary 20 minute session so we can get to know each other.

Who I Am

A true prairie girl at heart, I play ice-hockey and the fiddle in my free time, but I can also often be found dipping or lazing on the beach. I'm also a mom, partner, sister, and daughter, and am involved in many community projects to see if we can't make this a more gentle, beautiful world for everyone and everything.
